Si ...

(x-posted on 2 forum) I want to remove some polyquat buildup and my regular low poos with cocobetaine don't seem to be doing it. Does anyone have a recommendation for a slightly stronger yet still gentle clarifier ? From reading other threads, it sounds like cocobetaine is the gentlest surfactant, then ammonium laureth sulfates (ALES), then sodium laureth sulfates (SLS) which are pretty...

I'm working on a project that requires me to mix a liquid solution that contains ammonia which is used as a surfactant together with dental stone which is a high grade gypsum used for making dental models. The problem I get when mixing this solution with the dental stone is that it produces a lot of air bubbles in the stone. If I use just plain water, there are no bubbles. I know that it's the ...

I have determined I need a surfactant to get my paper properly coated. Will photoflo work? Also does one add it to my total supply of sensitizer or to just what I intend to put on the paper. Also will It help to add it to my salt solution? I ask this because I am having a hard time getting my slat prints to come out well. Right now they come out real blotchy in spots and a very light mauve in ...

The answer is B. This patient most likely has a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which is when the abdominal contents herniate into the left hemithorax through a congenital defect in the left hemidiaphragm. This causes displacement of the heart into the right hemithorax and pulmonary hypoplasia. If gas has entered the bowel tract, bowel sounds (gurgle-like noises) can be heard in the chest. The...

lol...I know, you could go blind trying to read those containers they're so purple! I did use it b4 I went CG and they made my hair very sticky and weighted down, just assumed it was 'cones. I'm pretty sure they have Cyclomethicone/Cyclopentasiloxane which according to StruttsWife's, Live Curly, Live Free says " not soluble in water, but whose chemical properties allow it to repel further...

Laundry detergent, or washing powder, is a substance which is a type of detergent that is added when one is washing laundry to help get the laundry cleaner. It is often colloquially called laundry Soap or simply detergent or Soap and it helps wash the fabric in a manner rather analogous to the way Soap helps wash hands, other parts of the body, or other things cleaner than washing with water ...

Jet Dry is a surfactant--basically soap--a wetting agent. It makes sense that you'd need it to get the oil off because soapstone repels water but attracts oil. Thank-you, I now have a different kind of proof for when people say I'm crazy when I say it makes the glasses taste soapy. And it might make them understand why I insist on a dishwasher that doesn't need it. 'Course, my soapstone...

Spin the device that you are electroplating and add a surfactant. IIRC that is what has had the best success for evenly electroplating electrodes with PbO2 for chlorate production.
