I've been getting together my RD applications and have consequently had to write a few more essays. I have one supplemental essay that I am not so sure on, and would like for someone to read it. It's a 'what influenced you to apply to [school] and why [school]?' kind of essay, and while I think I have a solid idea and foundation for my essay, something about is just screaming 'unpolished' to me....

I read in todays WSJ how high earning executives have supplemental retirement accounts in addition to their 401K which only allows 16K contribution. How does this work? Is it possible to set this up independently or through an employer? I would love to put aside much more than 16K pre tax,but only have an employer 401K with a modest matching contribution and profit sharing.

Hello All, For the supplemental, if you have retaken a class, do you list BOTH classes, or the most recent attempt? Also, for the biology requirement, it states that you should list classes such as microbio, a&P, genetics, etc. So if you've taken multiple classes from this category, would I just select two to list? I'm surprised they don't ask for the basic bio I & II courses as the bio ...

Where should the supplemental application (Scholars for Medicine) be send? I emailed the admissions office and the reply was "we are still processing the application" and did not answer the question.
