I found out I was pregnant 2nd of Feb 2009. It came as a very bad shock, as we had decided we wanted no more after Mason, but obviously werent careful enough. We spent the next few weeks ina haze really, of tears and shouting and more tears. I felt as though I could never cope with another baby and that I would have to consider termination. Besides finding them obnoxious, I also find them a little bit scary. I mean the big overgrown ones: six foot tall stalks with a flowers the size of a dinner plate. I'm phobic of them, I think. They ...

The road runs North and South and the plots land is on the East side. I made two passes along the country road and was combining from the West side towards the county road. I saw 3 "cappers" standing in my field and the rest of their party were pushing the plots...

I have just started with cuttings from Mexican Sunflowers. They are about a foot long & within two weeks have sprouted leaves & will start shooting up for their top growth of about 10 feet. Has anyone ever kept them trimmed back to a shorter heigth & still have them bloom? If so, how & about what height & for how long can I do that & still have them bloom. Thanks in advance for any help.

The sunflowers in the trucks will have to be sold at the elevator right away instead of waiting for the price to go up. It was a longer than normal harvest. Our first day of harvesting was back on August 31. That’s over...
