i also attend a gospel essentials class and agree that politics are not appropriate there. they aren't appropriate to that extent in any sunday school class. however, since the lessons are so short i can see how a teacher could be trying to fill up the extra time. still doesn't make it right, though. anyway, my first thought was to talk to the bishop about it. but i think i like kathleen's ...
