I'm looking for a rear sump oil pan for my freshly rebuilt 430. My motor came with a middle sump and wont fit into my 69 wildcat conv. The middle sump pan I have is in very good condition. Will buy or trade!!!!! Anybody ??????????????????? sumner

G'day, I am fitting a air/oil seperator to my 13BT, just need to know weather the turbo oil return to the sump is above or below the sump oil level? It looks pretty high up as it is in the block so I am thinking above the oil level but just wanted to confirm.

I have a Bristol which uses a 1973 400 B block engine. It has been modified (stroked) and the guy who did the work on the engine couldn't get the sump oil pan to seal so it leaks oil. Apparently he tried several times and now reckons the sump pan is warped, although there's no obvious signs of that. He appears to have used a cork gasket with some sort of silicone sealant (red). I think I'm going to have the same problem dropping the 455 into the 64 LeSabre. I have to look under the 445 in the wildcat to see it's pan setup. I have seen where someone cut and sectioned a pan to fit Butch 64 Wildcat 445 64 LeSabre 300 to be 455

the fun continues (maybe should be ) ok, so everything is done, all seals are changed, tension pulleys are changed, accessory tentions pulley bearing changed... all cleaned. gearbox together again and cleaned up BUT. have an issue. engine is running, as smooth as it has always has been (has a rough patch from air leak i can't track down).... the issue is gearbox (damn thing) ...
