Working on my next project Like many, it seems, I am looking at a steel All Mountain Hard Tail. To clarify, I would be going Ti, but still waiting on the lotto win... This will be my every day bike. The main difference is seat angle - the Pig has a steeper seat angle, so seated climbing is more efficient (less wheelieing, more weight on front wheel). It's also more compliant (skinnier top tube), stiffer BB (larger downtube). Oh, and all the main tubes are butted (double or triple).

Not what i said!I Figure out what type of riding(weather conditions etc) I am doing then choose my gear . NO gear is going to stop you from getting a broken back( except icon field ammor of course or doing lots low back rows at gym) when you hit a telephone pole. Gear is only going to do so much, the rest of it based on luck,type of accident, what you hit/what hits you. Basically this thread ...
