I think filmmakers and people in the music world should know this. It's different when you're influenced but it's another level when you try too hard to be like other successes. It's the reason why Pearl Harbor failed. Michael Bay was trying too hard to have a next Titanic. Can anyone list songs and movies that tried to duplicate other successes and failed or didn't gain the same success?...

Good morning! I think it's time we review our progress for the week. Are you still navigating toward your personal goals made back in November, or might you want to re-set your compass? Have you been checking your landmarks to measure your progress? Has it been easier or harder than you thought it would be? We got hit with our first snowstorm last night. It's not looking good out there;...

So happy to have found this site. It's always nice to be able to see other's successes for support. I am officially starting today 11/29/09. I weighed myself this morning & I weighed in at [sigh] 165lbs. I am only 5'2'', so I am not happy about that weight. Although I know that I can get it off. I was cleaning all day so I thought that I would weight myself before my shower & I weighed in...

"Addiction robs women of the possiblilities that these years of harvest hold. Addiction slowly dims her vision to the energy of life and to the successes as well as the deep losses they have endured. RECOVERY BEGINS WITH THE SAME FIRST STEP FOR EVERYONE : Abstinence. The work to build a new life and recognize the pitfalls on the path to a sustained sobriety is QUITE DIFFERENT FOR EACH WOMAN...

With the birth of their son, the parents were beaming with pride. Lying in that crib is our baby boy. The whole world awaits him. The successes of life are his for the taking. There's so much opportunity awaiting our little, bundle of joy. As the years passed, their son showed signs of lacking ambition. Rather than work hard to make grades, he just played games. Rather than take an after ...
