LAST NIGHT I WAS DOING A WEDDING WHEN I NOTICE THAT ITS WAS STUTTERING ON THE WAVES SECTION.. IT'LL PLAY SMOOTHLY FOR ABOUT 4-6 BEATS AND THEN THERE WOULD BE A DELAY ON THE WAVES. THIS IS HAPPENING ON BOTH INTERNAL AND REL MODE...IT DOES NOT EFFECT THE SOUND OF THE MUSIC...IT DOES THIS ON BOTH DECKS WAVES AT THE SAME TIME....IM RUNNING A MACBOOK 2.16 120 GHD...2 GIG RAM...RUNNING SERATO 1.9.1......

Does anyone else have problems with the game stuttering really badly? Like, I'll be in the middle of a game (single player) and running at 60 fps, then out of nowhere, 1 fps. My hard drive doesn't look like it's being hammered or anything. I've tried lowering my settings and it only really improves when I drop my settings down REALLY low, and even then it still occurs occasionally. ...

What is wrong with FRAPS? I'm trying to see how many FPS Modern Warfare 2 runs because it's been stuttering often in the one level. I have everything turned on max so I was thinking about turning off AA.

Stuttering/Freezes When is valve gonna fix this stuttering alot of us have been stuck with since a few patches ago. Gameplay is horrible. Every minute I get a 1 or 2 second lag/freeze what ever, does anyone know of a fix for this?

Done the font fix and patched to latest, my FPS is always at 60 or above on max settings anywhere in any city, problem is I have ridiculous amounts of stuttering, I'm sure there are some ini tweaks out there that can help but with the latest patch I don't know what works. Anybody have suggestions to reduce stuttering on this hardware?

Is your NVidia card stuttering now and again while modelling in Max 2010. Mine was too until I changed some card settings and now it flys along. Surprisingly I can't find any other threads about this. Does everyone here experience some sort of lag or stuttering when flipping through homescreens? If so, have any of you figured out a way to make it smoother? It also happens with the slideout trays on the homescreen.

My '95 sidekick started stuttering today when i press the gas, if i try to stay at the same speed my car stutters the whole time, its hard to get going. It seems like its trying to go but doesn't want to. what could the problem be ?

Every four seconds the audio, video, and mouse have a stuttering problem. Windows Task Manager in the Process tab shows snmp.exe popping to the top every 4 seconds. In the performance tab CPU usage shows a 50% spike every 4 seconds. All of these happen at the same time. When I end the snmp.exe (End Process) the stuttering goes away. I am having a problem and I was hoping someone could help me out. I am importing an iff sequence created in Maya --1280x720, 30fps. I import them into an After Effects comp with the same settings and render them out as Apple ProRes 422 (HQ). When I play back certain clips I get a stuttering effect.
