Sore throat and stuffy nose Hi I had my RNY gastric bypass on August 19th, 2009. I have a terrible sore throat and stuffy nose. I am not sure what I can take for my sore throat. I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice to hold me over until Monday morning when my doctors office opens up....

Last night was awful! Nothing I did seemed to him LO. He has a stuffy/runny nose all day and didn't really want to eat and was fussy. But when I put him down for bed he woke up 30 mins later and was crying non stop for about 1hr! Then I finally got him back down! He did this all night. This morning he was burning up with a temp of 101. Any advice? I gave him Tylenol. I have Mortrin.... when can ...

Hi guys. Cole has a miserable stuffed and runny nose. Does anybody have advice about what really helps. He gets so upset when I try to suction it out that it just makes it worse. The cool mist dehumidifier didn't do much. Maybe a decongestant? -Tami

These past few mornings, my LO is waking up with a stuffy nose. Should I buy a humidifier? Has it helped your LO? I'm also waking up with a stuffy nose but mine is an easy fix because I can blow my nose. Â I feel so bad for my little one when she's all stuffy like this.

does anyone have any ideas of how to help our LO's with a runny and stuffy nose? Nathan is very stuffed up and his poor little nose just keeps running.. both nostrils.. right down to his lips! My nose is so stuffy lately. I dont have a fever or aches. Just a stuffy nose, and TONS of congestion. In the chest and throat. Im constantly spitting up mucus too. Ive been like this for about a month. Is this pregnancy related, or just some thing that Im going through?

Almost 10 weeks and have been having an increasingly bad time sleeping due to chronic stuffy nose. It's stuffy all day, but worse when I sleep. I hate to be gross, but when I blow my nose, there is a lot of blood. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do for this? I've tried some Benedryl but it really doesn't help. I can't reach my Dr, which is also very frustrating.Â

Add a nettipot to your list. It's kind of gross to think about, but it's really been helping my stuffy nose. It's this little blue teapot that you put this saline mixture in, then it uses gravity to clean out your nasal cavity over your sink. Alright so i take the nassal spray, but honestly i never feel any difference.. its still stuffy ... i spray 2-3 times in each nose as it says on the directions, am i suppose to blow my nose out, or just keep breathing...... i know this is an odd question but it would really help.

yeah sean had a cold for awhile..coughing..stuffy nose--My hubby took him to the doc and she gave us some great medicine and he was all cleared up..Might want to give the doc a try..
