Hi ladies! As a FTM, I am leary about washing stuffed animals because I am afraid to ruin them. Did everyone was their LO's stuffed animals toys like they did the clothes or no? If you did, how did you do it to take care not to ruin anything? I am afraid of stuffing and sewn on eyes coming out and off. Thanks for your tips/help!

Cleaned out the kids rooms. Lots of toys, books and stuffed animals. Everything works but needs a cleaning. Some still have batteries. Take all and give away what you don't need. Also 1 big garbage bag and 2 small bags of VHS tapes, some kids some grown up (nothing dirty). Again take all and give away the rest. Southold, North Fork Read more...

Looking for some place that we can donate the dolls and stuffed animals that our girls no longer use. Anyone know if any of the Monmouth County police departments or Sheriff's Office keep some in the officers' trunks to give to kids they have contact with? Or any type of shelter or something for less fortunate kids/families? Anything?
Some schools hold large clothing drives where they accept stuffed animals. The clothes and stuffed animals are donated and they receive money for the school per pound they collect.

I put all my kids stuffed-up animals (that's what my son calls them) in the washing machine in a pillowcase. If they are older I won't put them in the dryer. They always come out fine.

my DS has recently started this habit too. he walks around the house with his stuffed animals hanging from his mouth. I think he picked it up from his Nanas dog but it seems like a harmless habit so I haven't really tried to stop it.
