New 2008 Stratoliner owner...couple of q's Hi everyone!!! First off what a ride!!! I've ridden a bunch of different bikes in my time but none to match the smooth ride of my Strat. It is by far the easiest bike to ride of any i have been on.... My questions are: first i want to put a set of Roadburner 3" step dragpipes on... I eventually want to put the big air box ...

Anyone checked out the new for 2010 Star Stratoliner deluxe 113 CI 1850 cc, hard bags and batwing fairing, with MP3 and speakers. Pretty darn sweet looking bike. Price is 17,4k might be a bit high, but if you add a stereo fairing to a 1700 Nomad you are almost at the same price. Added 15 minutes later: I was really excited about this bike until I saw that they put a 4.5 gal tank ...

It's called a Stratoliner Deluxe..(nowhere as cool as Street Glide)..there is a small pic and article in the new Cycle World mag....bat wing fairing,stereo,1854cc air cooled 4 valve per cylinder V-twin.No engine spec's are listed and it only comes in one color..all for $17,500....I guess the only way to compete with the most popular touring bike is to build one that looks real similar...sad

So I put on my new Undertail/tail (old one got cracked by a Stratoliner that rear-ended me) and got rid of the stupid plastic license mount for this: (soon it will be fully motorized ... until then it is spring loaded) Classy I know ... but in my opinion it is still better than stock. Plus this is only the first in, what I'm sure will be a very nice evolution of fold-away license plates ...

Just saw the yam version online. kaw with the voyager, victory with the cross country, stratoliner deluxe. finally a metric with a viable dresser and radio. Although the stratoliner is only going to have an ipod connection and not a real radio. Thats cool though, almost everyone I ...

Quote: Stratoliner leather hardbags I have a Strat. Those bags are MUCH smaller than you think. The inside is one big compound curve, leaving LITTLE storage space. The leather is holding up well.

Ride 'em both Everyone has different opinions - my advice is to ride them both and YOU will know what is best for YOU. I believe your decision will come down to YOUR priorities. If you priority is fuel mileage, buy the BMW. If your priority is "SMILES PER MILE", go with the KTM - you won't be sorry. Personally, I test rode a ...

Yep... I have the 'TVA' and the 'Ranger' to name but two. I also have one coming soon from Mike that will have the coolest name yet. The old vintage hats have names, so why not my customs. But I dont think I will name one George or Roscoe. __________________ RBH "Right for going places - The STETSON Stratoliner"...
