When you strap an amp to another amp how do you do it? Taking into consideration that the amp is strappable and does the amp see the same impedence just with double the power or does the impedence half?

anyone here know if I should set both as master and continue as stated in the manual? manual only has wiring diagrams/directions for non master/slave amps.... thanks, Tom

i have a single audiopulse axis 15 hooked to a aq2200d. it is not pushing the axis enough so how would the axis like a aq2200d on each coil at 2ohms? thanks

Quick question, strapping 2 amps @ 2 ohms would give each amp a 1 ohm load right?

What holds a strap IN the winch is friction. Whether that friction comes from folding the strap and sticking it thru the slot enough to get a wrap and start the friction or sticking the whole thing thru and catching the friction. i emailed thilo with this question and he said strapping the two aq2200ds to that sub shouldn't be a problem so i think im going to go for it.

differnat manufacturers have differing set up but basically the principle is the same one amp becomes a master and the other becomes a slave as said the positive half of the signal is dealt with by one amp and the negative by the other
