Really, that seems to be all they talk about "I'm so happy" "Look at my dress", "I cant believe how much it's costing to invite 500 of our closest friends to celebrate MY perfect day" I'm so tired of having their sexuality on display and shoved in my face constantly. And don't even get me started on the whlole pregnancy thing. It makes me sick to think about it. (irony alert)

Marital sodomy (oral and anal sex) wasn't deemed sinful till the late Middle Ages, but the Protestants criminalized it. Despite the fact the Bible doesn't bring it up. In an effort to ban gay marriage, Texas has also unintentionally banned straight marriage according to the gay opposition. Conservatives claimed nothing wrong with the wording and said that any attempt to challenge the law would probably have a one-in-trillion chance of succeeding. Notable remarks left by other readers: This is what happens when you go out of your way to screw over a group ...

I would never encourage someone to get an abortion. If she makes that choice to do it, I won't agree, but will love and support her. But I wouldn't push her to do it.

Dealing with unreasonable people can be frustrating. Sounds like your best bet is indeed to get your own divorce going--at least that way one of you will get the thing over with. It might make it easier if you just wire it up in your head as "something you must do" and just proceed with ironclad conviction that you're right. Don't put your heart and soul into it, don't go for revenge, ...

Not sure if this is the appropriate thread for this, but I had to share Nation watches as Houston becomes the largest in U.S. to choose an openly gay leader I don't follow politics as much as I should, but the first time I realized that she was lesbian was during her victory speech when she introduced her partner. Considering how conservative many Texans are, I ...
