I have a 2007 SF 2.7 owned from new and travelled about 30K Kms. Overall fairly reliable, but a few electrical/control items have failed and been repaired/replaced by the dealer. Particularly, the stop light switch failed recently causing several warning lights to show and of course the brake lights did not work. It also was promptly fixed by the dealer under warranty and no further ...

My 02 Gti (1.8T) has had for a short time now, had a fuel smell in the cabin when I am sitting at idle with fresh air comming into the cabin. I did replace the y hose some time back and I have on order a new oil dip stick and dip stick holder ( which I think is contributin to the problem). I did a search and it seems that some others have had similar issues but never posted what it was (in most ...

2006 Mustang Poney Package left front signal works, but left rear stop and signal does not work. Unplugged harness in trunk and used tester, still no power from brake and signal. Bulbs are ok. Any ideas? Please help before I go to the dealer and get robbed.

http://www.yankodesign.com/2009/11/30/a-better-und erstanding-of-stoplights/ Seems like a good idea but I can picture drivers jumping the light prematurely when it gets to the last increment on the "progress bar".

Stop Light switch short 95' G10 I have a 1995 G10 van made in Aug. of that year. So it has some 96' parts; the "stop Light" switch is one of them. The wires were bent over and two of them had splits on the wire next to the connector. I have taken then out and repolace those pins and reinstalled the Connector to the switch; however ...

http://infosthetics.com/archives/200...ress_bars.h tml When I went to India awhile back I was kinda amazed that they had numbers next to the red light that would count down to the green light. I think mainly because a lot of people over there turn their car off during red lights. In the link above there is a new style of stop light, which could easily replace what we already ...

ako i admit nagpupunta talaga ako sa harap kapag naka-red yung stop light. the reason for this is para mauna nga ako when the light turns green. in a way, yes, nakikipagunahan ako but not in a competitive sense. gusto ko lang talaga mauna kasi mas maluwag dun at hindi ako naiipit ng ibang riders or cagers. in a way, it is safer. but i still take my speed into consideration. ride safe parin ...

IMO Ford will never try matching the HP of a Chevy. We will always hope, but I really doubt that will happen. After all, how long has Chevy's 350, LT1 and LS series been putting out over 300HP from the fatory and Ford still has not tried to match them. And yet we still go out and buy a underdog car just because we love our mustangs. I have hoped for years that Ford would pull their heads out of ...

@ alfons I read that thread previously and it added to my anxiety about the switch. @ David There was no recall in Australia. Presumably the problem was identified and fixed before the release here, that occurred some months after the worldwide release. Despite a general assumption that Hyundai have "fixed" the switch, my switch failed. I am trying to find if others have any ...

They've had that in California for decades. But here in Florida, for some reason little cross-streets seem to take precedence over main boulevards. You can't go more than a couple of blocks without having to stop for a light, often with no cars waiting in the other direction. Then we have the numerous drawbridges, which will force a hundred or more cars to sit and wait ten minutes for some ...

What have you done so far? No effort == no help . What hardware do you use to convert serial -> parallel ? And the word you're looking for is "traffic light"
