Farm, the 250 tons is the stockpile they have, so 2 weeks at 1 load/day. As for the 500 tons, that is still a bit ambiguous. As of 9-30 PR they had shipped 75 tons. 21 biz days in Oct should have meant another 525 tons, so the way the PR is worded we were up to 4 loads short and possibly less, as the end of month schedule may have moved a load or two into Nov. Even if the PR is ambiguos, worst ...

We got a flyer from DD's school at Parent-Teacher conferences explaining that the school will be sponsoring a food drive right before Thanksgiving as a service project. The recommended donation was SEVEN items per family!! Well, DD and I went through our stockpile and found 25 items to donate! Granted some of it was foodstuffs that DD doesn't like anymore like canned pasta, but some other ...

On Friday the news had a story about how ALL the food pantries in our small community (I know of at least 4) are almost out of food and it is still only the begining of the month. So, this afternoon I went through my stockpile and filled 8 plastic grocery bags with food to donate. My HBA is pretty low so I don't have any of that type item to donate but did include some foil, plasticwrap, and ...

After taking pictures of my new little stockpile I decided to do some purging and rearranging. I boxed up the stuff we won't eat to donate to the food bank. Then I found homes for a few things that don't need to be in the stockpile area (a real challenge in my small house). And then I added another shelf in one of my cabinets (they're adjustable). I feel like I have so much space now! Now...

Don't store your bleach on a shelf! I put it on a white wire shelf installed by my husband in our laundry room. The shelf poked a hole in the bleach, the bleach leaked slowly all over my stockpile of shampoo, lightbulbs, laundry soap, then onto my wall, dryer and tile floor. It messed up the wall, but you cannot see it with items on the shelf and it is also behind the dryer. My bleach is now on ...

How long could you live off your stockpile? Sometimes I think it isn't very long. However, I'm amazed at actually how many staples we really have here. I originally thought 3 months...but I'm almost done making a 3 month menu and I'm surprised at how little I need and how little I'm going to use. So, now I'm thinking I have a 6 month stockpile. I think the key is that while I have ...

Im a huge sjax fan and have great respect for his ability to put up the numbers hes putting up with a horrendous team........... but in all seriousness wouldnt it benefit us if we traded him this offseason in order to stockpile picks to fill the several glaring holes on the roster? I look at it this way....we cant win with him on the team, so if we're truely trying to rebuild this team then you ...

in the store pasta sells for on the order of $1 per pound, and AFAIK it was no different a year ago. As you can read here welkerswikinomics.com/students/?p=761in Liberia in April 2008 pasta sold for $12 per 50kg which is around $0.11 per pound. Cool, huh? So does anybody here knows where is the cheapest bulk pasta to be had in America and how much it will cost? Not "organic" and "healthy", not "...

I found a fuel pump in my basement from when I upraded to the HP version on the Neon 4 years ago. It is a Holley 12-902 Fuel Pump (255 lph)/ GSS346.. How good are the non FI versions of the pumps. I want to be able to use it for the budget build. I also need to source out a new sock and maybe a connector for it. All I have it the pump. Any hints?
