Windows 7 x64 / iTunes syncing lock up / Steam Client Modern Warfare 2 game freeze issues... I just installed windows 7 home premium x64. Hello when I click on File>Check for steam client updates, it says my steam is already updated but when I press okay, it tells me I have to install a "Steam Client Service" Is this safe or not? I have not seen it been added to the site news.

I have purchase Dragon Age: Origin for Windows PC from Electronic Gaming Store. Using XP platform and most new stable release of Steam (think) I want to do so will not say 'Playing Non Steam Game OA' other people think I pirate it? Do not want. Please tell if not possible need help.

There's a new Steam Beta client available. To access the Beta, go to File -> Settings. On the Account tab press the Change... button to open the Beta Participation dialog. Hello, i recently bought a new computer and installed security software onto it, as you would expect. Though upon atempting to download the Steam Client i recived a message from my security software that the program is "Malicious", is this just something to do with how Steam runs and got my security software a bit confused? Just got home from work and went to launch the game from steam, and it needs a client update. So steam goes to restart and now i can't sign in. I am, however, able to sign in on the steampowered.com website with my credentials. Is anyone else having this issue?

I think that it'd be nice to have a mobile client for Steam, with such features as: - chat - friends list (with live status updates and access to community profiles) - forum access - remote game install/preload/purchase (and gift) initiation - trailers It'd be nice to see this on Android-based devices, especially.

The problem is an unannounced change that wants to install a background windows service that will always be there. I didn't know this was coming either. And I can't find anything about it on the support site either.

I'm handy at doing this, however its probably best if you did it. Are you attempting to do it or have you and ran into trouble? Are you using the steam client are you using Scrds? If you haven't been to scrds.com, I recommend checking it out; http://www.srcds.com/ This site is perhaps the best site for setting up source related servers.
