Our travel plans have changed and we are not gooig to Charleston after all. Has anybody been across State Route 24 between Morehead City and Fayettville, North Carolina? What kind of route is it for a 40 foot diesel pusher?

Spotted a black MM, eastbound on Rt. 2 near the Hendricks Road bridge. I was westbound in my car, you were eastbound. I think we made eye contact? Car was black, SS inserts, tinted, no spoiler. Almost as clean as mine.

Two people and a guidebook say not to miss Whidby Island and its towns. Love scenery, small towns to explore and water, ocean, lighthouses and hanging out. Should I change plans and ferry from Mukilteo or drive hiway 20 from ...

I would definitely take CA 78 through Julian. It is a pretty drive, and you can have your apple pie. There is also an old mine you can tour, if that interests you. (I have claustrophobia, so i stay away from it when we are there :~) CA 78 is also a more direct route to Borrego Springs than I 8.
