Anyone here like this show? Seems to be creating quite a stir among Stargate fans. If the comments here are anything to go by, the ratings are gonna bomb here pretty soon. Why One 'Stargate' Fan Has Stopped Watching 'Stargate Universe' It's not a patch on the other series, but Star Trek The Next Generation was hopeless in its first season and went on to become one of the best sci-fi ...

Who could have predicted the amount of dissension among Stargate fans over Universe? Oh wait, a lot of us did! Why is anybody here surprised that fans of SG1 and SGA are not fond of Universe? We all said so months ago that this was not the direction Stargate should take when "leaks" about SGU's story and heavy drama influenced writing began to filter down to us. Why are the suits at SyFyllus and...

when they can make and bring this unbelievable sgu crap to the tv screen, they can bring back good tv show that have been treated badly and cancelled before its time also. excuses like lack of funding or writer strikes dont count anymore. invasion was and still is one of the best tv series that have been made, they have left us hanging on a cliffhang for years now without knowing nothing of what...

Chloe Armstrong - She goes all kuddly around that fat guy, but in the next scene, she's spreading her legs for Lt. Matthew Scott. I mean, how the fock did it even come to that? There was no indication of them doing anything, but in the next episode they are doing it doggy style. When I watched that episode where she dies, I was like "finally", but soon...

Clearly some Stargate fans really don't like 'Stargate Universe': Why One 'Stargate' Fan Has Stopped Watching 'Stargate Universe' I'd be worried. Syfy don't want to be alienating the fanbase. I loved SG1 and SGA. Still not sure about SGU, though.

Quote: Stargate Universe to TEN Some readers have been asking about ads for Stargate Universe coming to TEN. The series will indeed air over summer , but so far there is no airdate. This is a pretty swift move from Pay Television to Free to Air, given the series only began on the Sci Fi Channel in October, where it was fastracked from the US....

In the Stargate Universe (I don't mean SG:U), there's some lazy writing as I see it, and I wonder if anybody else has thoughts on it. Ancient It's Latinesque. Fair enough. However it's unfeasible to imply that (even in the fictional SGverse) the remaining Lanteans affected nascent Rome to such an extent. Destiny Ancient Language continually evolves. Neologisms are coined, grammar ...

As a huge fan of SG1 & SGA I was looking forward to SGU, but a little worried about whether or not it could survive a third ongoing series. I watched the first episode and was happy that it seemed to work well and have its own path. Then I continued watching episodes and got disheartened. I love David Blue and so I kept watching the show even when I wanted to stop giving it chance after...

Just wondering about the rules for Time Travel in the Stargate universe. Is it possible to come up with a theory that covers all the instances that we've seen so far? The theory that seems to fit best is the branching universe theory. When someone (or something) goes back in time the timeline is forked at the moment they arrive. Initially the two universes are the same with the exception of ...

I can't watch it twice. It may get better with a second viewing but I just cant' make watching SGU my life's work. LOL Now if someone would like to pay me to find better stuff the second time around....... I wonder if a lot of bad or borderline shows are better with at second viewing? I wonder if a a lot of 'good' shows would suffer from a second viewing? I know I'll probably never re watch ...
