while i not using my computer for 30min...the computer will automatically turn off... previously on win xp,the monitor will just blank screen,but on win 7 i have to turn on the whole cpu. any idea i can leave my pc for 30min without shutting the whole pc?

Hello, My Optiplex GX620 power save mode has stopped going into power save mode and the screen freezes at the preparing to standby screen and has to be turned off and started again to work. I have swapped AVG antivirus 8 free for AVG 9 free and unistalled and re-installed but the problem still persists. I bought this unit yesterday. It's running Vestel software V0.5 When the box is in standby, the 160GB hard disc spins up at seemingly random intervals, then stops again after about 3 minutes. Monitoring it for the past couple of hours, it's spun up at 22:30, 23:01, 23:18 and 00:08. (there were no recordings scheduled to take place on or around these times.) Does ...

Im trying to set up Logshipping from a DB on 1 server to another (both SQL 2005) The backup and copy work fine, but the restore fails. I get the message: Error: The restore operation cannot proceed because the Secondary database 'SSRLS' is not in NORECOVERY/STANDBY mode does anyone know how do I put it in this mode and what are the implications? Attach the computer to a different monitor. If the problems go away, replace the original monitor. Do the same troubleshooting for the keyboard. If the problems don't go away, you are probably having hardware failures on the computer itself.
