I know a bunch of people here have HD TVs. How do non HD channels like MTV look? Does the screen have that ghosting effect? Also is 720 p or 1080 p better? I know 1080 is better if you use blue ray player (which I don't) or have play station.

Mrs D and I are looking to buy a camcorder. We have seen some High Definition models which are very nice but are about twice the price of the Standard Definition equivalents. We have an HD TV at home on which we could play our movies. Does anyone have a view on whether HD cameras are really worth the extra cost? Thanks

I'm working on a documentary shot in SD and I'm integrating motion graphics into the video.  I'm out of practice with SD but I remember it being quite a lot of trouble.   The footage is pulled-down 24P on the DVX edited in FCP.  I'm sure I can get the import working correctly, taking out the pulldown and such.  Now I've got the 24P footage in a 24P comp.   Question:  for outputting back to...
