It's Crococun. Also, check out the cenote lists available on the left portion of the screens, maybe in PDC forum. There are many that have walking tours of caverns that are really spectacular. Stalags., ponds, formations, cultural history, etc. This past trip we did Aktun-Chen very near Akumal . The tour was about an hour and included an exotic animal (small) zoo area. If ...

IF this nation were to ever be so stupid as to put Sarah Palin into the White House??? This old soldier would pack it in and leave the American Society to drown in its utter stupidity. IF this nation and its people were such dimwitted as to accept this rabid rabble rouser as a leader of any sort, then the nation is truly in it final state of descent and we will truly become a third ...

Thanks, gentlemen, and you too, Skack. It was about as much fun as I could have had being in solitary confinement in Berwick, LA, where I've been back in the oilfield and gainfully employed since December 17. That brought my duck season to a screechin' ace hault and I was a-hammerin' on the redheads and pintails, but it was about the finest Christmas present I could have gotten, all ...

The above-captioned trooper was a guest at my house in Detroit in the late 1970s. He was captured near St Georges de Bohon on D-day and there is an account of the fire fight preceeding his capture in George Koskimaki's book 'D -day with the Screaming Eagles' . After being taken to the church in St Georges, Haag and about 8 other PWs including Bob Harwell (C/501, still living) were marched...

Being somewhat of a war history buff this was intriguing. I had never heard of this before. I'm also wondering if the Swiss Red Cross knew of this (doubtful) as they handled many of the International CARE packages to the German stalags, and many accounts are now coming out that the Swiss weren't as neutral as many believed.
