For the past few months there has been a spike in violent crime over there. I live in north Minneapolis and I feel that they're getting the attention we use to get over here. Anybody know why the increase in violence?

My kids all did Kumon math for years, which is about as low-tech as you could imagine. They all ended up in the top of their school in math and science. Public school math is ok if you get your kids into AP courses in High School. But I'd suggest that you put your kids in your local Kumon from 2nd through 9th grade. PALS is not also called MONDO. They are two completely separate programs. PALS is a phonological awareness test. MONDO is an entire reading and phonics curriculum that the district started this year.

Can anyone give some beta on the St. Paul hut in Silverton, CO? I'm just curious what the terrain is like, if there is high avy danger in that area, and if there are any maps you recommend that would be useful. Thanks
