I go my Squareback on Christmas Eve and have driven it for the last few days, no problems at all, in fact one of the smoothest Aircooled VW's I've owned. Today I've had a fair bit of running around, the heaters were making the inside nice and Toasty and she was running nicely. I visited a friend and parked on slight Lateral incline, less than 8 degrees, got back in and she started fiine, ...

I have for sale a good running 1972 VW Type 3 squareback. The entire car has been completly gone over and has had a mini restoration from a reputable shop in Burlington NJ called Volkstech. Most engine parts are new, all new brakes... Motor is a 1600 dual port dual carb. Automatic trans. Car is kinda slow but still a blast to drive.. Great for someone trying to get their girlfriend into the ...

anyone ever try to swap in 1972-1974 highback seats into a 1968 squareback? i know most folks try to go the other way around the timeline to retro-fit early 60s lowback seats into their later 60s T3's. i have audi seats in mine now, probably because the previous owner also thought the original 1968 black vinyl highbacks, with the very square-ish tall looking head rests prone to...

After a couple of years of excuses Blondies Project '69 Squareback is well underway. Auto Trans, Air-Conditioning, 2.0L T-4 Engine. Still alot of work to do but hopefully this spring she will be behind the wheel. Or I'll be sleeping in the bus. I have all the air ducting from a 411 Variant ready to install, the custom engine hanger is done, and the modified a/...

1973 Squareback is getting harder and harder to start in the mornings. Good battery. checked all wiring Once it starts then there is no problems, will always start in the afternoon Resently replaced a new rebuilt fuel pump. Is there a cold start sencor that could be causing this problem or moisture? Thanks, Hulagirl (named after my car)

The wrecked 71 square I just got has the brown basket weave upholstery. The drivers side is trashed, but the passenger side upholstery is good. How about 1 brown 71 set and 1 dark blue 72 set?

Hi guys, I am trying to simulate onpress and onrelease functions but using onMouseDown and onMouseUp. squareContainer can be dragged around but squareBack, which is inside squareContainer changes colour when clicked. These both work. But.. when I drag squareContainer around, if the mouse is on squareBack (back) it changes colour as it sees it as onMouseDown. In the mouseUp, ...

Okay, I have changed it slightly.. it kinda works but its still hurting my head .. I have set drag initially to true as the mc will be dragged onto stage to begin with. Now it doesnt change colour if drag is true (which is good) but the problem I am now having is that when I have dragged it and then click on it, it doesnt change colour as it is still set to true. I have to click again and only ...

I bought a 1968 Savvanenbeige fastback out of a field in Wyoming this summer and towed it back to NH a couple weeks ago. It had been sitting in a field with a squareback next to it since 1978 or 79 as far as I can tell and is rust free. But the western sun had taken it's toll so the dash is cracked, the seat covers are toast (literaly) and the paint is faded on the southern facing side of the ...

Check the inside bore of your fuel hoses too. Cheap crap fuel hose from some of the usual suppliers often disintegrates internally in a few months and blocks needle valves etc. Buy quality hose.

o.k. thanks TRAM. do the bigger injectors make more power by pushing more gas into the head so this makes up for not being able to use a bigger cam? the square i have has a rod knocking but came with a complete short block so i am rebuilding it and wanted to do a little more to it. _________________ 59 with a 36 and a crash 69 auto, F.I. squareback 65 13 window deluxe bus....
