I am working on getting a square set up in OE 18" rears and can't decide what tires to get? I do what something alone the line of toyo r888 nitto 555, hankook r-s2 area. Thinking of doing some first time HPDE with them and dailying , so figured 265-35-18 is what i want? What do you guys suggest for this type of use? oh and mileage and price are the factors i am considering most

My personal suggestion, go look up the following tires: - Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec - Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 - Nitto NT05 Those are 3 high performance street tires with slightly different characteristics and prices. Pick your favorite based on personal research, posted forum testimonials, and price. Burn a set, try a different one, and keep having fun. I don't think you'd go wrong...

I used silcon sealant and pop rivets. I mounted them for fitting with some smallish screws. I did have to trim the panels, heat and bend to get them to fit right. Took three evenings of fitting before I was happy... But the end result speaks for itself. Do stuff a little insulation in the cavity though. It makes them sound much better.
