since they cut out 5% of it's character background history and scenes. http://dilly-shilly.blogspot.com/ Without reading the novel, players who buy the game only have 95% of the whole story. I guess they didn't have enough money to turn the novel's events into flashback cutscenes in the game? Or maybe FFXIII is being rushed?

I think the "pixelated" thing is overstated... I dont quite agree with the review in the front page. Sure theres some pixelation in the battlefield due to scaling, but the other areas, character screens, menus, portraits, including menus in the battlefield are all redone in the full resolution. As with a deep strategy RPG title you spend as much time in the menus and troops ...
