I am having a problem with my 87 GN sputtering while driving. The sputtering does not start to happen until I accelorate 25+ mph. The popping will occur sometimes when at WOT, but doesn't happen all of the time. I haven't replaced the MAF since I bought the car, and I have no idea at all how long the current MAF was on the car before I bought the car. I also received a Malfunction Code...

Hey guys, for the last two weeks after getting some water in the engine down in Harvey, its been sputtering and eventually stalling.. Ive replaced all spark plugs, leads and dizzie cap and rotor... everything else is dry.. any other ideas? Cheers guys
I still had sputtering at WOT a lil after replacing my spark plug wires, now I drove the thing to class was running fine, then i went to jump back in to my car and start it up... a no go... it turns over and everything just wont go.. i'm getting spark.. and fuel to my fuel rail...

Hi all,I have a 1988 toyota 4x4,short box,regular cab.When I go to accelerate,the truck starts sputtering,and doesnt have any go in it.Sometimes I have to rev it up to 4,000 rpms befor I shift gears.I cant get the truck over a 100 km on teh freeway either.I had the fuel filter changed a couple months back,new air cleaner.What could be the problem?

My car started puttering or getting a little jumpy when cruising between 1500 and 2000 RPMs. It also happens when it hits 6000 RPMs. To me it seems like a fuel/air mixture problem. 1996 Altima. When the gas starts getting low, around 1/4 of a tank, the car will start sputtering and have no power. If I pull over and wait a min, I can restart and drive fine for a mile or two.
