So I've just gone through ANOTHER sprocket (vortex) and I'm thinking i'd rather not keep buying new sprockets every 5 months. So I've tried to search for it, but maybe some of you guys know something I don't. Does anyone make STEEL tooth or even an ALL STEEL sprocket for Marchesini rims? Thanks in advance guys!

Hi New Daytona 1200 owner looking for advice. Any opinions on best chain / sprockets option for the daytona 1200. I have the swinging arm out for blasting / powdercoating and there is a scotoiler fitted to the bike. My criteria are quality and longevity rather than cost. Endless versus joined? What are other people using? What lasts? I ran a forum search on this one but could ...

Remove all Advertisements Need two rear sprockets for both of my wheelsets and was just going to go with the RMA ones but they don't have my size. Can get the Tag rear for cheap and was wondering if they are any good, or if anyone has any suggestions. The Tag, Renthal , and Vortex are all 7075 T6 alloy, so I'd suppose the Tag are good. ...

Threw a chain last week, so ordered a nice new D.I.D gold and front and rear sprockets. The old sprockets were 15 and 45 teeth, the new ones when they came however, were 15 and 47. It's making quite a difference to the top end, and while the extra acceleration is good, it's really just too revvy at the top end now. I can't sit at 90+ without feeling like it's revving its nuts off. ...

Remove all Advertisements Hello, I just picked up a used 2006 XR650L with low milage and the chain seems to be stretched out. The sprockets look good so I want to check and see if it has the right sizes on the bike. What are the OEM from and rear sprocket sizes and how many links should the chain have? Thanks.

Remove all Advertisements Hey there everyone, First off - I'm surprised at how many threads are out there for a bike that was only made for 2 years. It's great that this bike is still so popular. But, alas, my Google-fu is failing me on this topic. My dad gave my wife his old Reflex so that she can learn dirt on a gentle, low-seated, ...

As I`m up to my earholes in gears, chains, clutch and related stuff, I was wondering if the 650 engined model was different to the 750. The rear sprockets are similar 47 teeth. As are the motor sprockets 29 teeth (V models triplex) The gearbox sprockets are 20 teeth (V models) and 19 teeth (T120). Mine has 20 teeth. The primary chains are both 84 links (V triplex) The rear chains ...

Im looking for a decent bikeshop in Dublin. I have a Fazer 600 and need a new chain and sprockets set fitted and supplied. Who is reasonable and will do a good job without getting me to bend over and take it like a man ? I might get plugs thrown in and back pads too. I could do them myself as Im worried if half of the bike shops out there would tell you they changed the plugs and ...

I have a brand new, never mounted, 17x6 rear wheel for early 2000's GSXR 1000's and 98-2007 Hayabusa. I am not totally sure of the years for the 1000's so please check before buying. The wheel has all the hardware (sprocket and rotor bolts) and 5 sprocket specialists sprockets. Each sprocket was $50 each. There are 3-42 tooth, a 44 tooth and a 45 tooth sprocket. I no longer have a bike to put ...
