I have 2 front sprocket covers for 05-06 Honda CBR 600RR's. They have been "Nicky Modded". Trimmed to expose the front sprocket for easier changes or to just show it off. Keeps chain lube and gunk from flinging everywhere and still protects the water pump from a broken chain. Cleanly done...not some hack job. $35 EACH shipped in lower 48. PM me with questions of for paypal info. Thanks

During routine maintenance of the swing-arm bearing on my 02 FXD at 39 000 KM, I was quick shocked to discover that 25-75% of the hard chrome had worn off the valleys of the rear sprocket. I was of the belief that these sprockets would last at least as long as the belt (which was in perfect condition) The front sprocket looks OK. I kept the belt tension on the loose side, just outside of the ...

Playing with the new ST 1050 and sussing out everything I had the fairing sides off etc. Came across a funny thing which ties in wuth the optimistically reading speedo. My front sprocket is an 18T rather than the standard 19T also the 18T thats fitted is a plain non cush type. Wonder why someone dropped the gearing by 1 tooth. Anyone got any thoughts, and should I revert to std set up?

How often should a T140's chain and sprockets be replaced? It looks easy enough to change the sprocket at the rear wheel, but what about the smaller one at the gearbox end? What's involved in changing that? It doesn't look easy! What is a good way to minimise chain / sproket wear? I know from bicycle experience that frequent chain replacement preserves sprocket life, but how often on a Bonnie...

Remove all Advertisements I just had my new renthal 45 rear sprocket delivered and it doesnt fit! i have a 1992 dr350 and the standard 43 tooth sprocket has a 820 centre, not a 822 like stated in the parts books of my local bike shops. It looks like im going to have to have one machined as they can only order me a 822. Any ideas?? Chris
