2004-production Springfield Armory Socom 16 with approximately 500 rounds fired. Absolutely no issues/marks/damage, etc. TRW USGI internals, Springfield bolt and barrel. 100% reliable with even cheap mags. I would much prefer to trade, and ONLY for an 18" Springfield Armory M1A - Either the Scout Squad or Bush model. $1450 cash sale face to face.

Sent my XDM9 in for service last week due to the trigger being stuck and the mag release sticking. Both due to rust. They flat out accused me of dumping "some kind" of chemical in the gun. I told them the only chemical that was put in there was Gun Scrubber when the trigger stuck the last time. She basically called me a liar and said they had to replace 6 parts due to rust and I had to pay ...

I am also looking at the Springfield Armory 1911s. How do they compare to the Kimber 1911s? I was looking at the SA Loaded, Operator, and TRP 1911s. There are a number of different models within the Loaded, Operator, and TRP categories? Is any one better than the other, or does it depend on what the pistol will be used for? i have a warthog in 45acp, the weight is the same as my emp give or take 1 ounce, the differance in total weight was 11 230 gr 45 acp bullets vs. 10 115 grain bullets of 9mm, it does add up.
