The Jaguars are a joke, you'd figure they were an NBA team with the way they take games off. They just don't show up some sundays. The Jaguars need a new regime in charge heading forward.

49ers notes: Crabtree says spread offense way to go By Matthew Barrows mbarrows@sacbee.com Published: Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 - 12:00 am | Page 9C GREEN BAY, Wis. Maybe he's just a rookie and doesn't know better. But Michael Crabtree says the solution to the 49ers' offense is simple: They should turn to the spread full time. "It enabled everybody to get open and make plays," ...

Alex Smith Spread offense in College, Crabtree Spread offense in College................................"Hey I have a good idea, how bout we run the spread offense also ??????????????" Jimmy Raye, now I see why you had so many coaching jobs cause you odviously didnt know how to do them the correct way and teams kept having faith in you. Get it together

This version of the spread offense will not work in the Big Ten. If you look at what LSU, Florida and other teams run, they all have a POWER feel to them. Ours does not. Things will only get worse. Was today a home game or an away game?

Shitty predictable offense needs to be tossed out. Time to let our athletes play in space. No need for defense if USC can throw 60 on the board every game.

Why is it an offense can set, run a hard count and then all stand up? I don't understand the rule. I know I am a basketball coach not football but I don't understand. If you jump when they hard count it's offsides, but if they all stand up afterwards it's not false start. Can anyone explain this?

I'm not an expert on formations and base offenses and the like, but i think we should try to at least implement the spread offense in more of our plays, and if possible as a base offense (although i don't know how possible it is). The offense clearly works better out of it. It gives Smith more time to read the defense, which is needed because he often gets rushed as soon as he finishes ...

all i gotta say is...GO WITH WHAT WORKS!! ive seen where they are using the run to compliment the pass...i think having a mobile/good speed qb in alex smith!! they should try passing to compliment the run. youve seen running first hasnt worked out for our belived niners, where-as passing in spread formation has. if its working keep doing it!! we just dont have the best talent on our Oline to...

QUOTE (Superbowl Shuffle @ Nov 30 2009, 11:55 AM) So is SF going to run the spread all of the time from here on out? Smith could be a great sleeper QB as his weapons continue to develop and some soft secondaries on the schedule (SEA, ARI, DET). Can any homers give us some insight on the gameplan and formations used this week and previous weeks? Were they in the spread more than ...

huh? this would be a little concerning to me if i were a niners fan. 'some of the players want it but frank doesn't' .................. who the fuck cares what the players want? the players are simply there to execute the playbook and gameplan that the coaches install. players play. coaches coach. where is the confusion in this concept? you think belichick asks his running backs if ...
