I got ahead of myself the other day when I started getting this laid out for bottling. I realized that I had forgotten to buy a bucket to tap for a spigot (i'm attaching some tubing and the bottling wand to it), so I wound up just drilling one in the bucket I use for a primary. Should I retire that one to be a bottling bucket only now? I'm worried that the spigot will increase my chances...

I am making wanting to make a new mash tun and I can buy a cooler for $10, but it's spigot is in the middle. I would assume that it shouldn't matter, I would just need to make a different manifold. Doe anybody have one like this?

I bought a 50qt Rubbermaid cooler to use as a mash tun. http://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/Pages/ProductDe tail.aspx?Prod_ID=RP091808# The spigot is on the long edge of the cooler rather than the short edge. I've read about only slotting the longitudinal pipes in a manifold to prevent channeling. Will this work with the manifold feeding to a spout on the long edge of the cooler? Would...

Hi all, I need to get a set of spigot rings/ hub ring for the above wheels. I have measured the Rays and the hole is 65mm and think the std subaru wheel centre hole is 54mm. Can anyone else confirm I'm correct before I machine a set up as I can't find this size anywhere.

This idea was used on the prototype 4 piece Conolon 2072 Lee Wulff rod that was first built by the Conolon Custom Shop and sent on to Lee Wulff for evaluation, it wasn't used in the subsequent prototype or production models, but I thought I would share it with you. Its a neat setup but a bit labor intensive to have to fit the little nylon screw washers you can pickup at any hardware store in ...

In 1999 I purchased vintage Fisher Glass Blanks from Winston/Glen Bracket (this was glass left from the '70s & '80s glass production). Glen designed , cut and spigot ferruled the blanks. Glen had me write a check to a Day Care Center in Twin Bridges as payment. I believe I still have the Winston invoices. These are 2 of the finished rods I built from those blanks in 1999. 6'-9" 3/1 #3 ...

Groundbreaking idea to increase the PPS: Buy some shares. The dilution spigot is off, this will move with volume. As we wait for funding news, re-check your DD and remind yourself why you were interested in SYNJ in the first place. All systems are still a GO and now we are closer to funding then when you made your first purchase.

I bought these, used them for one day and realised I was far too optomistic with the et the wheels ended up running. They're basically brand new, as I drove the car once with them on. They even have the spigot rings to fit stock Nissan S14/a hubs. £70 delivered.

I've been using buckets for primary going on 3.5 yrs now... I have spigots installed in most of them. (I keep forgetting to buy additional spigots for the rest). Since I keg, I attach Js Kegging Apparatus to the spigot, pull airlock and open valve. Beer flows into the keg and no siphon needed. For a dip tube I use a shortened racking cane held in the spigot with a #1 bung. The end ...
