I read somewhere that you could use php inside the sphinx.conf. How can I include a file and call variables out of that file? Something like this: searchd { address = port = }

I was thinking of making an Esper deck, and I'm planning on making a Sphinx one of its finishers. Now I'm wondering which one I should get. I like Sphinx of the Steel Wind , as it beats Baneslayer, but Sphinx of Jwar Isle seems really good too. What do you guys think?

Is it possible to do it? I've read the document that sphinx will retrieve 1000 records by default. So now I can't search the records start from 1000. My memory is limited,can I make sphinx capable of searching more records without more memory?

I'm trying to make a Grixis Control deck with Cruel Ultimatum and Jwar Sphinx as it's wincons, and I'm having a hard time debating whether blightning is worth running over mind rot in a 3 color deck. Is the 3 damage worth it in control deck or should I stick to Mind Rot for the safer color option.
