runge, ignore some folks here. Mis-spellings, caps, etc are usually never commented on the boards and are off topic. Since it is allowed on this board then I will elaborate! This board is about BZCN and if some of the mods would do their job here then you would never have seen the posts about your caps. OFF TOPIC RULES ARE CLEAR IN THE BOARD'S HANDBOOK YET SOME HERE SEEM TO FORGET or IGNORE THEM!...

I would like my iPhone to automatically change "im" to "I'm" but it changes "im" to "IM". I've tried various ways but have not been able to teach it. Likewise, I'd also like it to change "id" to "I'd" instead of "ID", and have iPhone change "were" to "we're". I could teach these various changes to my BlackBerry, but have not found a way on the iPhone. Is it possible?...

This doesn't get it done. 30 times in a row I typed " im ", got " IM ", clicked the x, backed up over the " M " and typed " 'm " to get " I'm ", and each time thereafter that I typed " im " I would get " IM " instead of " I'm ". iPhone 3GS 32GB ...

Hey, I have the "English (British)" dictionary installed (not the US dictionary) yet many times it tells me the spelling is wrong and suggests the American spelling. So I have to add it to the custom dictionary, which gets frustrating after a while. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a fault with the British dictionary? Chris

Ah, I must of downloaded the US version. Yeah, it was set to the US dictionary on the right-click menu. I didn't think I had the US dictionary because it wasn't in the extensions list. Thanks

Am teaching year 3 spellings and don't feel satisfied that I'm going through spelling patterns adequately. Is there a book / website that could suggest spelling patterns in a particular order?

Well, now I am considering Sao Paulo, probably the Jardim (n?---seen both spellings), area, for my starting point, then to Iguasu and Manaus (instead of Rio). I don't see much about Sao Paulo in the discussions. I am pretty sure I wouldn't really like the beach scene in Rio though the overall city looks really beautiful. Anyone know much about that area of Sao Paulo? Would I be making a...

Today, I got an email saying I had a naming violation. So yeah....I suppose I'll be changing my names now. They say I have to report the others myself so...

Alex Chisolm just kindly shared some information regarding this case and gave me permission to post it. As we know, the surname of the Birtley Fell murder victim has been spelled several different ways in newspapers & books, and this can be rather confusing when researching her case. Among the variations are Beadmore, Beetmoor, Beatmoor, and Beardmore. Here is what Alex wrote: ...
