RE Ukie, spell checker Yes IHUB got rid of the spell checker during the last set of upgrades to the site. There were just better ones out there so Admin just got rid of it rather than try to improve on what most people already had. FireFox has its own built in and you can get one for IE at the following link. http://iespell.com/ hope that helps

After installing Office 2003, and using the most recent update, the spell checker is in an endless loop of popping up saying "SPell is complete." Please let me know the fix for this loop. I have tried running antivirus, adware remover, reinstalling software, and even deleting the proofing files and letting Office reinstall automatially. It still keeps popping up. 1 person needs an answer I...

If you want words in italics to be ignored, then you need to create a character style that includes both the italic formatting and the "no proofing" property; see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/MasterSpellChec k.htm for more on creating such a style.

My situation was the same as the poster Topaz's from Dec 2006. His story mirrors mine to the "Tee"! I would have thought by now Microfart would have fixed this bug but at $50 a pop for a tech support call its no wonder those geniuses just cant get this big ole issue fixed. I tried absolutely everything including MS service pack 1 and 2 which didn't work either. One suggestion that did ...
