Thinking about moving from Plusnet to TT. No particular problems with Plusnet but TT looks better value. A couple of questions to you guys who know: 1. What's the difference between Basic with anytime and speed boosts (£25.74) and Pro (£26.24)? 2. What are the upstream speeds for speed boost and Pro? I phoned TT and found it hard to get a straight answer but they seemed to think ...

After seeing the Scuderia, it really made me wonder what the various shift time speeds are for various cars because oh boy that Scudie shifts freakin FAST. The Scuderia shifts at 60ms and M5 supposedly shifts at 65ms at/near redline but the Ferrari feels faster. How does the DSG or other manual/auto gearboxes compare?

The speed of light is the same for all observers, no matter what their relative speeds. Could someone please explain to me, in the simplest possible way, why this is?

I'm thinking of getting a 2010 Dream season UF. I'd like to know what kinds of speeds people are getting, whoever has shot one. I would probably be shooting 28" Arrows anywhere from 350gr to 415gr. I would probably shoot at 65lbs, and may crank it up to 70# for hunting. My draw length would be 29" or 30" depending on how far back I could mount my dropzone rest. Any info would be ...

So, what kind of data speed do you get when you're on WiFi? I did some benchmarking of 3G and WiFi data speeds out of curiosity using the Xtreme Labs speed test app. On 3G I see data rates ranging mostly from 300 - 1300 Kbps (with min/max of 90 / 1900 Kbps). I'm on T-mobile. On WiFi I get consistent speeds of around 450-550 Kbps. I tested it on two WiFi networks (802.11g/n, and the other...

Hello, I have recently started torrenting and am getting great download speeds, but unfortunantly my upload speeds are horrible. I have tried 3 different torrents, one which was the openoffice torrent, and others which have many peers aswell as seeds. I also uploaded my own torrent today, and I am the only seeder and unfortunantly my upload is terrible. No matter what torrent I was using, my ...

While I'm downloading the upload rate is seems fine but when the download finishes, upload speeds drastically reduce? I want to do my part by uploading and don't care how much bandwidth is used after the download. But I do have to keep a port open on the router and don't like to walk away for long periods while the port is open. (had trouble with hackers before) So the faster I can upload ...

What kind of speeds ought I expect to get out of firewire 800 ports? I'm transferring files, and the rating is in MB/sec - which I think is Megabytes per second, but Fire wire is rated in megabits/sec. So I'm curious as to what I ought to get in Megabytes per second when daisy chaining two drives. Thanks Steven Gladstone http://www.gladstonefilms.com
