Very early this morning, the M2 was in a bad way. I figured the appropriate speed limit was between 40 and 60 km/h. About half of the drivers agreed with me and the other half simply thought that there was nothing unusual about this morning. Some of those people duly ended up crashed on the side of the road, including a guy in a landrover who drove only a matter of a few feet behind me until he ...

Does your city mail you a check every year for obeying all the speed limits? .....mine doesn't either. The law EXPECTS compliance, but there aren't any rewards for it, only punishment if you fail to live up to it. Cruiser

Is there any way to update the maps frequently to get the latest changes to speed cameras, speed limits, road changes etc? Or do you have to reload the map every now and then? I had a TomTom before and every time I connected it to the computer there was several updates installed. I have a N97 btw.

Do you go the speed limit, or under, in residential areas? In our immediate housing area, the speed limit is 15mph. Very few people do the speed limit and it aggrivates me cause there are always SO many kids out playing. I admit that in the city/on the highway... I do not do the speed limit. I am normally 10 over which is typically the flow of traffic so I'm not "speeding". But in ...

Idle irresponsible question occurred to me... We all know about Germany and their speed limitless Autobahns.... But it occurs to me that in some of the wilder and woolier corners of this planet and at certain wild and woolly times speed limits don't/didn't exist because nobody can be/were stuffed to enforce them / travellers are/were encourage to go as fast as possible to avoid ambush.... ...

I think some peoper driver training is the real solution. I don't recall being taught anything about driving in fog/ice in my driving tuition. Also there are so may drivers on the road who have never even taken a test!

Hi, thanks for the idea of trapster. Just so you realise I never speed, I just don't agree with nokia promoting their software by false claims. If nokia cannot provide the white speed indicator on every road to show the red/green speed warning then they should not state 'nokia map 3 NOW with speed warnings'. I am a disabled driver and I don't care about getting there a few ...

Intel and Counter Intel... Easy hacked... I have Hacked EEPROMs on my V12 engine that removes the governor. Now, instead of limiting my speed @ 158 mph, I can take to 200+.
