October '05 went in for surgery to have L3-S1 fusion. Two discs gone, two more herniated. Instead of doing what I had requested the surgeon did a partial lamenectomy (sp) L5-S1 left side. When I came out of surgery not only was I angry bus in terrible pain. When I got up to walk I had terrible muscle spasms on my left side just below my waist line. (slightly long post and update) Hello - for the past 4 years I had been easily avoiding erosions by just applying artificial tears upon awakening before moving my eyes. The erosions started up again mildly (I think due to an infection) and fortunately I got a very good recommendation to a new ophthalmologist. I think a lot has to do with trusting your doctor or just "moving on" and trying...

I've been getting alot of them over the past month or so. Left inner thigh, left inner calf and now deep excruciating pain in the arch in my left foot for hours. I've tried stretching. I've tried massaging. Somebody told me that it could have to do with not having enough potassium in my diet. Anybody know if there's any truth to that?

I know it is taboo but I smoke a little medical marijuana. I have a recommendation from the Dr. because of my IBS-D and it really really works great. Even in the morning when the D seems never ending. I take a little and then the cramps and D stop. thats what I do. I think activia helps me some also. good luck my friend Aj
