so when i was in Lone Wolves i shot 2 people with 1 laser with the spartan laser, but the laser only killed one and damaged the other... So like spartan laser is NOT one hit kill... [Edited on 11.12.2009 1:44 PM PST]

So alot of people have been saying things like: "oh, Halo Reach is a prequel to the halo series, and that means less weapons exist, like spartan laser, battle riffle, bubble sheild, spike grenade, ETC, because these things did not exist or were not invented yet in Halo CE, or Halo 2.. Others have countered this argument by stating that the whole Halo CE-Halo 3 timeline only takes place ...

We can all agree that the Spartan Laser completely takes the joy of vehicular combat, but I don't think it should be removed. Here's my idea for a fix. It would still have the same 100 charge. After you've charged it up for the normal amount of time it shoots a beam that keeps firing like the Sentinel Beam. The beam could be kept going by holding down the button while the battery rapidly ...

It's obvious that vehicle combat has been drastically decreased from what it was in Halo 2. This is because of the addition of many more anti-vehicle weapons in Halo 3. In Halo 2 the only anti-vehicle was the homing rocket launcher. In Halo 3 that was replaced by the Spartan Laser, Missle Pod, Trip Mine and the Power Drainer. To balance the Spartan Laser what I suggest is one of two things. A...

This is a strange glitch, and a quick check in the search box found nothing similar. Basically, in Firefight on Lost Platoon, I shot a Wraith with a Spartan Laser while somebody else was attacking it... and another player got the points for two of the kills, despite being in a Chopper at the time. The Game in Question (I was Zumbo Prime). Now, I have not heard of anything similar to this ...

Hey, I bet this has been asked and answered a million times over, but I'm going to make it a million and one :D I've seen a few screenshots with people holding the sniper rifle sideways, and some people holding a Spartan laser backwards? How in the Halo do they do that?! Any help would be apreciated :) *EDIT* The pic is "pro sniper" Which is: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Halo3/Screenshot.ashx? ...

i Love the shear power of the Spartan Laser, the way it just annihilates anything it hits. (except scenery for some reason) and it feels good just to see a wrecked Warthog fall from the sky (mid jump from a grav lift or ramp) with all 3 occupants falling with it.

I personally don't have a problem with the laser, sure there were games where it was a problem, but not enough for me to want a change in how you use it. If there's anything I'd want to do to balance it, it would be either remove the scope, or reduce the amount of damage

Posted by: Wolverfrog My theory is that Virgil created bubble shields and the like. It would also explain why at the beginning of Crow's nest, a marine says "shields are down." Not all shields are energy shields. Anyway I believe that the UNSC had created bubble shield technology before perfecting personal energy shields for Mjolnir armor. It makes sense if you think about it, bubble ...

Posted by: Tack ll7 I think the main problem with the SL is the fact that it's so accurate. I mean it's almost as accurate as the sniper! I think they should make it more... unpredictible. It shouldn't be pin-point accurate. The lazer shot should be completely random, and end up anywhere in the crosshair. I personally think that would ballance it out a lot! Worst idea EVER. It has a f***...

See the thing with Bungie is when they introduce a new weapon in a game which is in the future of the series they act as if its been around in past games but was never shown i.e why theres Hornets in Cole Protocol and Halo Wars.
