I am using AOL for Mac OS X  version 10.3.7 Always has worked perfectly.  No problems.  Until yesterday.  There is one item in my spam folder that I can't get rid of.  If I hit delete, I get an aol message saying there are too many requests pending. I have a website that has a simple asp mail form on it. It is a one field form that just collects an email address from the user then is supposed to reply to the address entered with certain requested info. The problem is the reply email gets stuck in the SPAM dir in AOL and other ISPs. I plan on contacting my web host about getting the IP the domain is on Whitelisted, but is there a service...

I'm curious what would make a comment go to my spam folder -this happened twice. I'm pretty sure (though not positive) that the test comment sent today from timethief didn't go to spam, but don't quote me on that.) They have to be approved first. Thanks.

I have a question regarding how Thunderbird handles spam folder in different accounts. I can't remember what I did, but when I first setup my Gmail account to work with TB in IMAP, in same way I managed to make TB recognize the Gmail/Spam folder as the correct spam folder, avoiding the Junk folder. Note that if I go on Account settings -> Junk mail, TB is configured for doing nothing. For ...

Well, your IP is being rejected by AOL. This is probably due to various messages which appear to be spam being sent from the server. Remember, this may include your messages, since the server may not be acting like a normal SMTP email server. Bill

When stuff gets thrown into your spam folder, it may have embedded links that you can't see. If you click "quick edit," it will show embedded links. Today, I have a comment in my spam folder that just says, "Great post." Although such an ambiguous post may be highly suspect as spam, I am not sure why it did end up in the folder. There appear to be no links. Still, I am not going to post it...
