Tri's with open water swims, or straight OW swimming events?

I'd like to travel around South East Asia next year but I'd rather stay away from all the larger tourist areas. Can anyone give recommendations for smaller towns or cities worth visiting in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos?

Hi, My wife and I have a chance for a 2 or 3 day break, dropping baby to Clonmel so want somewhere within 2 hours driving distance. OK. We Mods have let this thread go for a while. There have been tons of insults and now they have ultimately led to threats. Albeit they are more than likely threats of the online variety, they are not condoned and are against the forum rules. I'm closing this one down for that reason.
