Am planning on getting the new 27" Imac that just came out. You would think for 3300 bucks shipped it would have a semi decent sound processor. Can one recommend a good sound card that can give me the following: 7.1 channel output Dolby ProLogic DTS Dolby Digital Live 24 bit digital audio etc.... Or, can anyone tell me how i can book up a home theater receiver to the Imac? ...

I'm a novice Mac user and I'm trying to figure out how to get sound with my USB Rocketfish 2.0 webcam (yes, it has a microphone). I went into system preferences and set the web cam as the audio source. My kids want sound with their photobooth videos and I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Thanks!

For some time now I have been trying to use the old "stereo mix" or "what u hear" I had on my old PC with XP. I built a new rig, got a new sound card and put Windows Seven on it but could not find Stereo Mix. So I started using an external audio cable to use "Line In" as my recording device and it works BUT when I'm recording and there is no audio there is a loud hissing sound and it makes it not...

I would previously be able to record sound that was coming our the speakers before I upgraded to windows 7 but now I can't. I've went to the nvidia website and selected my motherboard but when I try to install the drivers it just says that its not the right one even though it is. I recently had to reboot my computer because of a virus. I didn't have the disk to install my sound, and I have no idea how to get my sound now. I'm not good with computers, so simple terms please. I do know that I use Legacy Audio Drivers. I've also already tried re-installing it too. I'm stumped

Dreamcast No picture or sound Hi I did VGA mod and tryed it but no picture or sound so I resoldered wires but I have messed up copper connecters under motherboard so now I dont get picture or sound with any leads it light lights up the fan is blowing GD drive not working any help please thanks

I often find situations that would be perfect for a little humorous sound. I'd like to assign a convenience key to play the "losing horns from Price is Right". It seems like it can only be assigned to an application. Is there away around this? Last edited by lickwid; Today at 08:49 PM .
