Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 External USB Sound Card not found by Creative programs. So I can't adjust it at all. Also can't get 5.1 sound. I miss it. Anyway how do I fix this? I'ma try and uninstall everything and re install with restarts in-between each step. 1 person needs an answer I do too

I have just put together a new i7 build and was unaware of the included supremeFX x-fi. So inevitably, i ended up with two soundcards, my chosen option and the supplied card. So I have two Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series Sound Cards to sell. I see mixed prices around so no idea. What would you guys reccomend. These cards have never been used still in their box.

For some time now I have been trying to use the old "stereo mix" or "what u hear" I had on my old PC with XP. Hi all i had finally made the stuff to work. i will tell u the exact process. on windows 7 64 bit. the program files location for 64 bit apps and 32 bit apps is different. The basic PC's sound driver must first be installed and then the SoundBlaster Xfi MB "Software enhancement". But, the SoundBlaster Xfi MB software must be installed using the Compatibility mode. Several others have reported installing that in the Vista compatibility mode works OK.
