I think I saw a thread posted before where a guy did a solid swap on his Cobra and it pushed his wheels way past the fender. I have 18x11 CCW Classics and they are flush with the fender now on my IRS. I want to do the swap but I'd like to keep my wheels flush. I know that Fox, SN95, and 99-04 rears are all different widths, Fox is narrowest, 99-04 is widest. Is the axle width the only ...

If the end is ramped it would be into the driveshaft. this pinion guard fits very close, which is good, its low clearance. Its all 3/8th" plate too, major beef.

I think the cheapest and easiest IRS setup to put in another vehicle is from the Mustang Cobras. You can get a used entire system for under a $1000. There are lots of aftermarket kits to stop wheel hop. Anthing else needed like coilovers, bushings, sway bars, etc. The sytem fits into a cradel that was bolted into Mustang rear end.
