Hello I am currently 1/2 through a tribunal case that involves many different areas of the law (unfair dismissal, sexual discrimination, protected disclosure & tupe) and I am starting to become unhappy with my solicitor and feeling really doubtful that I hired him. I am thinking of ending our contract and finding a new solicitor / barrister that will represent me for the remainder of the ...

Hi all, We are in the process of buying a house (yey!) and currently have a few issues. Firstly we were aware that various walls had been removed downstairs between rooms, and the chimney breast, and we wrote this on our instruction sheet to the solicitor. A couple of weeks in we ask the solicitor if they have heard anything re. building regulations for this work. Solicitor seems to think ...

We are going to rent a shop. Apparenlty, the landlords legal fees are capped at £500. Is it likely to be that much? We will also need a solicitor to look over the lease from our perspective. Need a company that's good and cheap at doing this. It will be a very straight forward a1 lease, 3 yrs with a 1 year break clause. thanks dan

Hi. Is it a case a large firm has an advantage over an average sized firm or self employed solicitor? Am I right in saying that, if a case goes to court a barrister on the day is appointed regardless of who the client chooses from the start? Therefore would it be considered that its better to choose a solicitor who works on a "No Win No Fee" agreement? TIA!

I consider this a retelling of everyone's favorite vampire story :-) The tale begins with Lauren Mallory, a newly qualified English solicitor, journeying by train and carriage from Forks WA to Edward Cullen's crumbling, remote castle (situated in Chicago, IL). The purpose of her mission is to provide legal support to Edward for a real estate transaction overseen by Mallory's employer, Lucious ...
