Hey Guys, I'm getting ready to start working on the liquid side of the brewery, and I need to source 10-11 1/2" ss solenoids. Not sure if I want to go 12V or 120V? I will probably use mechanical relays if I go the 120V route... Anyway, I am trying to find the best source for good but cheap valves. I know dudadiesel has some at a good price. Does anyone know of any other ...

I am in the process of putting together a KLZE. Both VRIS solenoids were broken when I received the engine. I didn't think anything of it because I have read about people using their DE solenoids on a ZE. I put them on there and it just doesn't look right. The shaft has to be compressed at all times. Any thoughts? -Nick

As the title states im looking to get a nitrous and fuel solenoid. I will take ether the old style Main Line solenoids or or the newer lighting stage one series. Would consider other name brand solenoids as long as they are the same size so i dont have to get new hoses. Let me know if anyone has anything.

My gearbox has a problem with going into 4th. with OD off it drives fine. but when I switch the OD on the car starts to die and wont drive properly til I take off OD. From what I've read I think its the solenoids playing up. The oil level is ok as I've just changed the oil. Could it be anything else???? Report Post To Administrator

The locks in my 96 XJ are very pig-headed. They are power, and all of the power stuff works, but the locks require a lot of force to unlock them. More force than the solenoids can provide. Where is the point that needs to be greased to free them up?

Just opened up the cover on the TAAT's VB to check the resistance readings on the 5 solenoids. Good news: they're all between 4.7-4.8 ohms. Bad news: still have to figure out what is wrong! Anyone have the torque spec for re-tightening the bolts that hold down the cast cover? TIA
