Hi, This is a wonderful place where my D200 and Nikon 18-200 were great to use! A spectacular place for the colors and textures of soils. http://photo4fun.zenfolio.com/valley_of_fire A few examples: http://photo4fun.zenfolio.com/img/v4/p113064021-4. jpg http://photo4fun.zenfolio.com/img/v6/p131355027-3. jpg http://photo4fun.zenfolio.com/img/v6/p344590551-3. jpg http://photo4fun.zenfolio...

I have both a crate and a large folding crate the size of a pen (I can crawl in there and take a nap). I'd like to be able to put him in the pen when I go out, and I don't really care if he soils the pen. I'd like to be able to put him in the crate for traveling and a time out. I don't mind him sleeping in my bed. Basically, I'd like to be able to use either without him barking and crying....

We're planning on building a modest-sized house on a small lot just south of downtown. Our big three requirements are getting the foundation right for the expansive soils down here, making sure the house is wind proof for the next big 'cane that comes through, and building green. We like to live with the windows open most of the year. Does anyone have architects or builders to recommend?

" I'm looking to plant this puppy 13 feet away from the house " Too close for any but very small trees, particularly on clay soils! River Birch might be OK, as birches have a good reputation for not causing damage to foundations. But even that could get too large for safety in the longer term. Resin
