Hey Folks, There is no coral reef where I swim so I find it interesting that more and more fitness and tri swimmers use snorkels during workouts but almost no collegiate team swimmers do at my pool. Has anyone found them to be a great help? By having free flowing air aren't you cheating yourself? Hoppy Thanksgiving SK

Not sure if anyone is familiar with a brand of Snorkel from POWERFUL? I've heard of the brand but never knew they make snorkels, anyway I've got one and just have a few quick Q's about the install. Firstly, I know you need to use a special type of silicone that doesn't emit any fumes but I cant seem to find out what it's called (did a quick search with not much luck). Can anyone Point me in ...

Hi all, What's your opinion.. when fitting a snorkel, should I keep or remove my pre-airfilter box? I'm thinking remove and just run a single pipe from snorkel through to main airfilter box for better flow. The safari snorkels have a snorkel head cover thing for dustry conditions anyway don't they? 90% of my driving will be in the city with the other 10% spent on country trips etc.

I'm seeing more and more 4x4 explorers running aroudn lifted and with snorkels and up and down the roads from muddin. I would like to hear from owners of both and their opinons.

Please note: This is not intended as advertising I am considering manufacturing some "Spoon style" snorkels out of fibreglass and I am posting this basically to see if there would be a market for them and some constructive feedback to see what people think of the idea/ product. Every one will be hand made by myself from quality fibreglass products and will look pretty much identical to the ...

Just returned from 7 days at this incredible rental. Very down to earth, nothing fancy, but everything you could need, and very fresh and clean. Anything you might want to take to the beach is provided with the Casita- umbrella, chairs, snorkels (although we bring our own), boogie boards, cooler, etc. To me the chairs and umbrella were worth the price of the rental. Our hosts Joe and ...
