Does anyone actually do this? I just did it to get my Thermal Scope, but I really didn't enjoy it lol. I had to use a modified Sweep Snipe technique in order to get Headshots. But I am curious if anyone uses the ACOG while sniping and if so why?

I cant believe all these whining topic on sniping. There is nothing wrong with the sniper. I always end up top 3 and I run n snipe. Anyone else think the sniper are ok in this game?

I've always been average at sniping but this is really my game! I didn't like it at first but I got used to it. It's also best when you have your own sniping bud. Having each other's back and the knife high-five ha. I love it! I also unlocked the second scope which is the best scope ever. I've had so much more head shots with it now. is sniping the same as camping? the reason why I ask is because I think snipers are the biggest **bleep** in the game. At least with the campers they kill me face to face. Snipers are so much **bleep** they shoot from 5 miles away. How boring is it to play with a sniper riffle? Just sit on top of a roof for 10 minutes straight just looking for people to shoot? Sounds like fun to me...

changed the thread title because *one of the replyers* felt as though i was talking to him and took it alittle too personal. When on the attacking team DO NOT snip/camp for recreational purposes. Besides the no recoil in spec ops, it seems A LOT easier to snipe, I mean I can quick scope 10 ppl and manage to hit them all and in MP i can barely maintain 1 : 1 ratio with sniping

I use the barett with a thermal scope and silencer a lot lately. before then it was the acog scope and fmj. is it just me or does it seem like you do less damager with a silencer? just seems like it to me some times. and I also get a bit frustrated when I'll shoot someone real far away (not a headshot) and they die in 1 shot, then I'll shoot at someone who is even closer, ...

on the rare occasion i decided to whip out the sniper rifle on MW2 i find i have to shoot the guy up to 6 times in order for him to die. i'm sorry but if you get shot once let alone twice, with the barret .50 cal, it's doubtful your getting up. but these mofo's just keep running out of sight. i even use stopping power, so someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong besides not ...
