When did you become aware of snark? Who represents snark to you? Someone famous? Someone you know? Someone who writes? A musician? A TV personality? Someone online?

Is there a REASON you booked people until 5:freaking45 PM the day before Thanksgiving? Gah. I wanna go home. I have a date with champagne and a fire. And I promised the kids I'd pick them up early. Just called the school and told them I'd see them regular time. And I promised them a car wash. ;) Kids LOVE car washes. (sigh)

Seriously? You have to change the vacation days policy NOW, when my department is already short staffed? So now I have to coordinate all vacation days before the end of June, instead of the end of August. This should make for a *wonderful* spring semester. Sigh.

Ummmm...yeah...my husband company is the largest producer of what we are trying to keep the kiddos away from. HOWEVER, he is not evil. I don't believe his product is evil. If you have a problem with me being married to a man who does the marketing research for the company, I got some news for you... HE MAKES 4 TIMES MORE THAN I DO! GUESS WHO WILL...

here! Dear Astronomy instructor: Please get well soon and come back to work. Your lab tech is straight up killing me w/ his crummy lectures. I want to stab my eyes out with my pen instead of using it to take notes with. And could you please have someone post our exam grades in your absence? Seriously, you've got like TWELVE different people assisting ...

The interface between jazz and classical music is long, diverse, sometimes overblown and sometimes rewarding. Here are three albums in the rewarding category. The fall 2009 release of NYNDK's The Hunting Of The Snark, putting into a jazz context compositions by Charles Ives, Arne Nordham, Edvard Grieg, George Perle, Carl Neilsen and Per Norgard, is complemented by two less recent discs ...

I was thinking about how brilliant Toy Story's title is. I could never come up with it! If you had to re-name Toy Story, what would you call it? (And don't just say " I like it the way it is.") For the Snark WAS a boojum, you see. -Lewis Caroll

I imagine this, or something similar, has been posted here already -- though I've had a quick look and couldn't find it. Anyway, to my mind it is worth repeating on a regular basis. Miss Snark, the literary agent: Crapometer got you feeling bruised and blue? Although I've posted this in humour, I've half a mind to put another link in aspiring writers by way of encouragement there -- I ...

Steelers forgot about Mendenhall late Monday, November 23, 2009 By Gene Collier, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09327/1015677-66.st m Remember when it was fashionable to trash Rashard Mendenhall, to snark on his fumbling, riff on his evident indecision, bewail his questionable status as a force for good on an offense laced with All-Pros and Super Bowl MVPs?...
