Remove Advertisements I recently had to replace my magneto cover and I obviously had to take off the upper idle gear cover to do that. I went to pull out my starter torque limiter and the whole thing fell apart in my hands when I pulled it out. The snap ring on the back of the assembly was broken. Blue- point snap ring pliers and K-D

On the right: Blue point PRC 65 snap ring pliers. I don't have the other tips, only the tips in the pliers. Internal and external snap rings. Problem with snap ring on stock shifter

I'm trying to install my JHM shifter, and I can't get the snap ring off the stock shifter. I have a pair of channel lock snap ring pliers and the tips keep slipping off the snap ring. I didn't have this problem with the snap ring on my B5... This is very frustrating, any suggestions are appreciated.

99 rm250 water pump snap ring

I have a 1999 rm250. Riding the other day the egine started to make a metal rubbing noise. It ends up the water pump snap ring behind the clutch cover came loose. Has anyone ever heard of one of these just popping loose? I inspected the impeller shaft and snap ring and they look ok. I dont want to have to split the case if i dont have to. Can i just reinstall and hope for the best? I am thinking...

TWM SS - Snap Ring Problem

guys i have been installling the SS. but the snap ring wont go in. look like there isnt space. so i grinded down the bushing but look like that isnt the problem. i am doing everything according to the instruction. here are some pic:- any help really appreciated i am driving like this. i have to drive 83 miles daily.

Re: Trouble finding the transmission number for snap ring check Found it! Had to get in there with a flashlight in order to see it, but it is indeed in the snap ring range so I will be performing the preventative maintenence when I have my new clutch installed...thanks again for the help
